How to create Avalanche web wallet.
Avalanche wallet is your gateway to send AVAX from a CEX (centralized exchange) to another wallet which is connected to Avalanche network. This guide will show you how to create your own Avalanche wallet.
- 1.Go to wallet.avax.network
2. Tap Create New Wallet.
3. Tap Generate Key Phrase and write down your 24 words seed phase (Remember DO NOT share this to anyone and DO NOT save it as an image in your phone or PC ).
4. Fill in the missing words according to the seed phrase
Your Avalanche web wallet is now ready to be used.
How to use Avalanche web wallet
1. Getting started
Avalanche web wallet is your gateway to the Avalanche ecosystem of decentralized applications (dApps). Here’s how to use the wallet.
This is the first page you’ll see when you access the wallet. You will notice the X (eXchange), C (contracts) and P (platform) letters on the top right corner. That’s the three chains which exist on Avalanche’s default subnet. Depending on the exchange you bought AVAX, you’ll need to sent AVAX to this wallet via X-Chain or C-Chain address.
2. How to send
You can use this function to send AVAX from your wallet back to exchange or send to Metamask to use decentralized apps (dApps).
Cross-Chain function is used for sending AVAX between 3 blockchain in the default subnet. You can use this function to send AVAX from X-chain to C-chain and then to Metamask to interact with dApps. Also, you can send AVAX to P-chain for staking and governance in the future.
3. How to earn from Avalanche Wallet
